PM-KISAN Scheme

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from the Government of India. The scheme was launched in February 2019 to supplement the financial needs of land-holding farmers.
Under this scheme, all landholding farmers' families are provided income support of ₹6,000 per year, payable in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months. The fund is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
